Yoyo Maeght - Happy New Year!

With all his kindness, his energy and his talent, Aki Kuroda gave me this painting to wish me a happy new year 2021.

It is a pleasure for me to post it here and share it with you.

Our friendship dates back to… 1980! And it was in 1981 that we mounted our first exhibition which was accompanied by a catalog for which Marguerite Duras signed the text.

I have the pleasure of supporting him in the presentation of his Work, whether to Museums, Galleries, Collectors and Institutions.

Aki Kuroda produced numerous engravings, lithographs, prints and books with Maeght Editeur which I chaired. He will also exhibit at the Maeght Foundation for which he will create various posters, for exhibitions but also for the “Nuits de la Fondation Maeght” concerts.
