Thierry Lefort NEWS
Thierry Lefort was born in 1967. At the age of twelve, with no formal theoretical or technical training, he picked up pencils, brushes, and pastels, and created his first drawings and paintings. It was a revelation; he found his own way of apprehending the world, its light, its colors, and especially its beauty. Later, Chinese calligraphy, practiced in Henan province in China, led him to greater clarity of line.
In 2021, Yoyo Maeght dedicated an exhibition to him in Paris, followed by another in 2022. Other exhibitions have taken place in Bordeaux and Aix-en-Provence.
From this collaboration, several prints were published and quickly sold out.

Recent works 2023
In 2022, Thierry Lefort was invited by the city of Burbank to create a monumental work spanning over 150 m2. All stages of the creation were captured on video and will soon be featured in a documentary.
Following the adventure of his remarkable monumental painting in Burbank, Thierry Lefort is preparing a print that reproduces this emblematic landscape of the Los Angeles hills.
The City of Burbank, in Los Angeles County, is the world capital of media and the film industry, home to major studios like The Walt Disney Company, Touchstone Pictures, ABC, Warner Bros., NBC, and Warner Music. It was at the city's request that Thierry Lefort created this monumental work of over 150 m2. All stages of its creation were captured on video and will soon be the subject of a documentary.
