The works were partly designed in California, but it was not in his Los Angeles studio that the Artist worked this summer, but in the streets of Burbank to create, at the request of the city, a mural work monumental.

The Californian city is a theme dear to Thierry Lefort who shuns the label of figurative painter. How then to paint the streets, the urban jungle, the shadows? His large polyptychs, in the juxtaposition of multiple canvases, bear witness to figuration. However, the subject only appears through the assembly of various abstractions. Only the composition is sought by Thierry Lefort.
