.Miró - And Japan

In 1966, Japan hosted two exhibitions by Joan Miró, in Tokyo and Kyoto. Organized by the Maeght Gallery, they are an opportunity for Miró and my grandfather to travel around Japan. They are received with all honors, like high dignitaries.
The lithograph poster was designed in France, edited and printed by Maeght.

I was and remain fascinated by this calligraphy which seems to complement Miró's drawing. My love for Japan, I am sure, also comes from there.
