Aki Kuroda - Shanghai Doland Museum

In 2008, the Dolan Museum in Shanghai opened its doors to the captivating universe of Aki Kuroda. This major exhibition was much more than a simple display: it was a total immersion into the parallel worlds that the Japanese artist weaves with strength and poetry. As the guest of honor for this artistic adventure, Kuroda unfolded his constellations of signs, silhouettes, and chromatic labyrinths, blending East and West, memory and future. It was a significant step in our collaboration and an intense moment of sharing with the Chinese public, who were curious, attentive, and already captivated.
