Aki Kuroda - "Midnight Spaghetti" NYC 2022
Here are some views of the "Midnight Spaghetti" exhibition, conceived by Yoyo Maeght for the Richard Taittinger Gallery in New York.
For this exhibition, Yoyo Maeght gathered the paintings from the "Midnight Spaghetti" series, accompanying them with monumental paintings of the "Minotaur" and Aki Kuroda's explorations of the cosmos.

In 1980, Marguerite Duras wrote: "The paintings in Aki Kuroda's exhibition. On the surface, they resemble each other. This resemblance is superficial; it merely allows for the grouping of work done over three years. The paintings do not resemble each other. I did not see that Aki Kuroda painted the darkness of night. four canvases are named by Aki Kuroda: Les Ténèbres". The full text by Marguerite Duras here
