Aki Kuroda - Shanghai Doland Museum

In 2008, the Dolan Museum in Shanghai opened its doors to the captivating universe of Aki Kuroda. This major exhibition was much more than a simple hanging; it was a total immersion in the parallel worlds that the Japanese artist weaves with strength and poetry. As guest of honor for this artistic adventure, Kuroda displayed his constellations of signs, silhouettes, and chromatic labyrinths, straddling East and West, memory and future. It was a significant step in our collaboration and an intense moment of sharing with the curious, attentive, and already captivated Chinese public.
