Aki Kuroda - TS1 Art Center - Beijing

In 2007, Beijing's TS1 Art Center hosted a major exhibition by Japanese artist Aki Kuroda, a leading figure on the international contemporary scene. In this city in full artistic effervescence, Kuroda unfolded his dreamlike and labyrinthine universe, made of signs, passages and vibrant shadows. Invited by Yoyo Maeght, a loyal accomplice of the artist, this project marks an important stage in the dialogue between East and West, through a profoundly free, poetic and resolutely modern work.
