Yoyo Maeght - Niel Museum Lecture
CONVERSATIONS ABOUT ART

Some places speak of art even before you enter. The Musée du Niel is one of them. Nestled on the Giens peninsula, in a renovated 1960s villa facing the sea and Porquerolles Island, this exceptional venue dedicated to painting from the second half of the 20th century — abstraction, non-figuration, post-war avant-gardes — seemed like the ideal place for what I want to share with you.

On June 25, 2026, at 6 PM, I invite you to an evening of open conversations about art. An evening of discussions about art, its history, and that of my family — because for me, talking about art also means telling the extraordinary adventure of my grandfather Aimé Maeght, who dedicated his life to bringing together the greatest artists of the 20th century. I grew up surrounded by artists and artworks, and that evening, I want to take you with me into that world.
Come with your questions, your doubts, your curiosity. That's all it takes.
This talk is held with the support of the Uningo Foundation, committed to promoting culture and artistic exchange.
